About us

Situated in the upper gym in the Rossett Sports Centre (inside Rossett School), Harrogate Table Tennis Club is a friendly social club run by a group of dedicated volunteers. We are the largest table tennis club in Harrogate and the surrounding areas with a 7-table venue.

The club runs its sessions 7-10pm on Mondays (except bank holidays) & 7-9pm on Thursdays. We welcome players who are looking for a competitive challenge in the Harrogate Table Tennis League. Our club has multiple teams across the divisions, so why not pop down to our next session and sign up with a team!

History

We are one of the oldest Table Tennis clubs in Harrogate named after the spa town. Used to be a part of the Spa Tennis club on the Dutchy estate, the club became very popular and needed a bigger space. Eventually it took its independence and moved to Harrogate High School. In 2016, the club had to move again due to the gym refurbishment taking place in the school.

Currently situated in the upper gym in Rossett Sports Centre, we are the largest table tennis club in the area. The club approved successful in bringing more members and players into the club and the sport. Being a proud member of the Harrogate Table Tennis Association, we have many teams currently playing in the local league.
